Townsite Sentinel
2022 photo by Sue Nielsen
The Cobalt Historical Society is excited to present this puzzle, part of series featuring historic Cobalt sites.
The Townsite Mine head frame and the Glory Hole are Sites 1 and 2 on the Heritage Silver Trail in Cobalt, Ontario (Canada).
Ontario Northland Railway , the company that owns the Townsite Mine property, has declared both sites off limits to vistors. People can view the head frame easily from a safe distance, but the Glory Hole is hidden from view. There is an aerial photo on the back of the box to show both.
