International Amy MacRae Award for Memoir- July 1st

Whistler Independent Book Awards- April 30th

Corrected information came in too late for the 2026 CWCC. Participation at the Whistlers Writers Festival; Entry fee: CAD $75 +5% HST ($78.75)) for first book; $50 + 5% HST ($52.50) for subsequent entries.

Open to the world, not just Canadians. Genres: Fiction; non-fiction; Children's books; Poetry

Spring Pulse Poetry Contest

Although the website has not been updated, please know that festival coordinator David Brydges passed away April 25, 2025 and the William Henry Drummond Poetry contest has been discontinued as well as the Spring Pulse Poetry Festival. He was a great promoter of the poetic arts and is missed.
