Smokey and Other Stories
by Ron Bailey
Ron has been a woodsman, mechanic, teacher, farmer, college lecturer and professor who began work at the age of 15 and continued until retiring at the age of 75.
Smokey and other stories is another collection of events that occurred in the life of Ron Bailey who was raised in Hough Lake, Ontario.
After leaving that area in his late teens, he returned some twenty years later with his wife Anne and two children. Today they live in New Liskeard, Ontario but they still have fond memories of rural life.
His other books I'd Do Most Of It Againand Hough Lake and Beyond add to his story.
